Okanagan Bible College is an educational institution serving the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church. The vision of OBC is different from that of other schools in that we wish to partner with churches and or groups that are already providing training, or wish to begin providing training in your own setting. OBC does not have a campus. Our classes are taught in churches as we partner with to bring education to the people. We invite pastors or church leaders to write us about how your church can be a teaching site of Okanagan Bible College regardless of where you are located. We also offer correspondence courses to be done by email allowing students to stay with their home, families and local churches. Online courses are now available.
As a Bible College, you will receive learning, training, and resources through which men and women may acquire knowledge and gain skills to develop their ministries in the Lord.
We are an evangelical, multi-denominational, international, and multi-ethnic community. We seek to help fulfill the Church's commitment to the ministry of the Word of God. Through professional development, spiritual formation, the dynamics of pastoral ministry, and the encouragement of Christian lay-leadership, we aim to provide a unique basis for the Church's outreach in the world.
We are committed to academic excellence and practical relevance; to personal piety and social responsibility, to historic Christianity and its expression in the scientific culture of our modern world.
I welcome you to learn more about Okanagan Bible College and share in our vision.
Rev. Dr. Lawrence Wilkes, B.R.E., B.A., M.Div., Ph.D., D.D.
