Master of Christian Leadership

The programs leading to the Master in Christian Leadership is designed to equip those actively involved in a leadership whether in a vocational ministry or in a secular vocation, with a higher level of competence in the practice of a biblically and theologically based life and leadership skill. This program concentrates on developing expertise in the theory and practice of leadership and personal growth. The Master in Christian Leadership is a high professional degree for those engaged in leadership. The goals of this program are to enable students:

  • To grow spiritually
  • To become aware of new trends and literature in their vocation.
  • To be challenged and encouraged through dialogue with fellow professionals.
  • To acquire a master degree which is practically rather than academically oriented.
  • To enhance their ability to communicate the Gospel.
  • To meet the needs of their constituents in a more effective manner.

Partnership with CREST Leadership

CREST Leadership is pleased to announce that a strategic partnership has been signed with the Canadian Graduate School of Ministry which allows CREST students to fulfill requirements to earn a degree.

This degree has two entrance requirements:

  • Completion of the CREST Leadership Program
  • a Bachelor degree

The CREST Certificate in Leadership - 8 Encounters over two years - is the major portion of the Master’s curriculum. In this portion of the curriculum we cover the life development of the leader, and leadership practice in organizations.　Practical skill-sets are given to the leader they can immediately use in their context - whether ministry, charity or business.

For the Masters, an additional 4-day Intensive is required in which Leadership Theory is presented.　This portion is led by Dr. Terry Young, PhD in Leadership. This adds the theory to the practice.

Then the student writes a major paper, 30-50 pages, which summarizes who they are, and their leadership philosophy.

The tuition for the Master in Christian Leadership for CREST alumni is $3000.
